I’m Sam.

I always had a niche for all things creative, but it wasn't until high school where I officially took an interest in photography, video and graphic design. I also studied media production, film photography, and produced our official graduation video.

I then enrolled in a media production program where I dove deeper into the world of digital media and storytelling. We produced our own short film with my roll being Script supervisor and Editor.

If you ask me what drives me creatively, the answer would be emotion. There is a beauty in emotion and strength within feeling it. Not only does emotion ignite passion within us, but it allows us to be vulnerable just enough so we can see the bigger picture,

and this is mine...

It’s become much more apparent how important it is to stay true to who you are when the world around you tries to put you in a box and rid you of what makes you shine.

A term I’ve heard a lot growing up (amongst others) is being called “weird”. It has always been used as a derogatory word to diminish you for what makes you YOU. So I’m reclaiming the word to fit my own values.

The name 'WEIRDOVISIONS’ came to be simply with the idea of being empowered to stay true to oneself and follow ones dreams.

I believe that we must protect and embrace our individuality; our ‘light'. I want to serve as a reminder to everyone I work with to follow their dreams, bring their visions to life and never give up on themselves.
